Trivia app for The British Museum

This project endeavoured to establish an interaction system tailored for the British Museum, with the primary objective of fostering active and enjoyable engagement among individual visitors with the exhibits. Adopting a user-centric methodology, it commenced with the observation of visitor behaviour, ideation sessions, and researching into appropriate systems and technologies. Subsequently, the project progressed through prototyping, rigorous testing and iterative refinement.

Information Architecture
for an integrated website about 'Makgeolli'

The objective of this project was to develop an integrated website dedicated to Makgeolli, a traditional Korean alcoholic beverage. The website was designed to provide comprehensive information about Makgeolli, including details of associated local events, and facilitate direct sales of Makgeolli to visitors. Knowledge pertaining to Makgeolli was acquired through interviews conducted with experts, and the data obtained was organised according to the principles of data architecture. This approach ensured the creation of an efficient and meticulously structured website, enhancing user experience by enabling customers to readily access information and products with ease.

WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Audit

The primary aim of this project was to enhance the accessibility and usability of the MyCareBudget website by implementing the WCAG 2.1 standards. Users of the MyCareBudget website encompasses a diverse demographic, including individuals with disabilities. The key objective was to identify areas where the current website fell short of the WCAG 2.1 standards and to compile a comprehensive report featuring recommendations for improvement.

Usability Test
Commissioned by the charity, Diabetes UK
Role: UX Designer, User Researcher
Duration: Three months

A usability test was conducted on Diabetes UK's microsite 'One Million Steps Challenge' to enhance its usability. Tasks were designed and performed on six participants. Quantitative and qualitative data were then organised into rich summaries of raw data, an affinity map, and a rainbow spreadsheet with a severity rating scale. Additionally, a System Usability Scale (SUS) was used on a questionnaire to measure usability.
